Bitdefender Small Office Security (on-premise console) protects small businesses with up to 250 PC & Mac desktops & file servers. It combines leading protection & performance with simple & effective remote deployment & a cloud-based management console. Bitdefender Support would like to inform you that to install it, you just have to Import the Small Office Security into virtualization environment, deploy it on a hypervisor & set up the network as well as proxy settings if required.
Deploy & Set up Small Office Security Appliance
To configure the password for the built-in badmin system admin account.
Sign-in to the CLI menu using the badmin account password configured above.
Configure the following options from the Appliance Options menu:
Configure Hostname Settings
Configure Network Settings: To automatically receive the network settings from a DHCP server or can have the network settings configured manually.
Configure Proxy Settings: During initial configuration, each GravitaZone instance needs Internet Connectivity. If the Internet access is routed via the proxy server, configure its address using the following syntax.
If the proxy server does not require authentication: http(s)://‹IP/hostname›:‹port›
If the proxy server requires authentication: http(s)://‹username›:‹password›@‹IP/hostname›:‹port›
Configure Language: This setting wants the CLI language and it can be configured to English, French, Spanish or German.
Automatic Installation: Choose Automatic Installation & follow the prompts. All of the roles will be automatically installed:
Database Server
Update Server
Web Console
Communication Server
